Multi-Dimensional Cheeks

Blush Wand Original Skin Blush Rouge Bunny RougeToday I wanted to provide some tips on how to achieve a gorgeous, glowing, and dimensional cheek using two key products from the Rouge Bunny Rouge range.

Many times people choose a powder blush because of their longevity, though often times they contain drying powders and binders.

Cream blush, on the other hand, yields a youthful dewy glow that hydrates the skin but can tend to fade fairly quickly. What is one to do?

The key is to layer! Laying down a cream blush first as a base allows the emollients to soften the skin and smooth it over. This gives a lasting hydration that will keep any product fresh throughout the day- a powder blush dusted on top gives the longevity. The two products together bind velcro-like to the skin, essentially giving you the best of both worlds- both dewy and resilient makeup.

Below we have provided some examples of cream and powder blush duos that complement each other beautifully. These are, of course, only suggestions. Be your own artist and try out your own combinations- you may surprise yourself with what you create!
Warmly,

Seth

I just bought "Florita"- now I need to get "Reubens" too so I can try that lovely combination!

I have a bit of redness on my cheeks, and use the almond milk foundation, would titian or manet be good choices? The manet / habanero looks like it would be an intense look for me. Anyway... any suggestions welcome!

We would highly recommend trying out our Original Skin Blush FOR LOVE OF ROSES in 'Starina'! Its warmth and peach-tones neutralize redness and provide a soft glow!
