Meet The Beauty Bloggers: The Point of Vu, USA

In our latest instalment of blogger talks, we travel to the USA to meet Mary Vu. Her blog, aptly named The Point of Vu, is dedicated to beauty trends, K-beauty, news and “cute things“ in general.

That’s The Point of Vu

In her own words: “My name is Mary and I'm a 20-year-old college student with a big love for all things beauty! I run my own beauty blog, The Point of Vu, which focuses on beauty news, deals, and reviews of makeup and skincare from all over the world!“

1. Mary, what was the first ever RBR product that you’ve used? What was your first impression?
The first RBR product I ever used was the Crease Brush 011 and it was AMAZING! I still use it to this day and almost every day. It blends and buffs out my eyeshadow perfectly and it's super soft!

2. What is your favourite RBR product and why?
My favorite RBR product is definitely the MILK AQUARELLE Liquid Foundation! It provides a gorgeous natural finish with very decent coverage that makes your skin look flawless. Not to mention that it feels weightless and like second-skin!

3. If you were to add one new product to the RBR collection, what would it be?
If I were to add one new product to the RBR collection, it would have to be a BB Cushion Compact! I'm a huge fan of Korean beauty products and my absolute favorite is the BB cushion. I know many other non-Korean brands like Yves Saint Laurent, MAC, L’Oréal, Bobbi Brown, and even Dior are creating BB cushions, so I would absolutely love to try one with a RBR formula!

4. What is your signature look?
My signature look is glowing and dewy skin, a simple dark black cat eye with dramatic lashes, and a nice tint of color on my lips!

5. Would you share one particularly beautifying make-up trick with our readers?
I always see people mess up with this one, but it's the most common beauty trick everyone needs to know! When using an eyelash curler, don't just clamp down on the lashes and be done – clamp down at the base and gently pull the curler outwards and upwards (be sure not to clamp too tight or else you'll be tugging your eyelashes off)! Do this twice and give one last clamp at the base to lift up your curl. You'll notice a much more natural and BIG curl!

Thank you very much, Mary! ;)
