RBR Esxence 2017 Commentary

„The Garden of Eden“ – the 2017 motto – had manifested itself in everything from the trade fair’s workshop programme to the exhibitors’ booths. Given the ever growing impact of the Esxence fair on the industry and its relevance for perfume connoisseurs worldwide, the comparison to the Milan Fashion Week seems obvious.

We’ve particularly enjoyed the workshop programme with such highlights as Wanda Benati’s beautiful Olfactory itinerary through several Gardens of Eden where fragrance plants are the protagonists, Christophe Laudamiel’s edgy presentation Ugly or beautiful: aesthetic in perfume creation or neurobiologist Dr. Anna D’Errico’s fascinating Psychology of the perception of smells and fragrances.

Adding to the charm of the show, this year’s Esxkin has attracted visitors interested in niche beauty. Basking in the Esxkin visitors’ favour were our RAW GARDEN quartet palettes and the instantly beautifying Skin Perfector.
