Shadows are powerful storytellers in the Enchanted Garden. They can conceal. They can enhance. They can sparkle your imagination. They can bewitch and bewilder you. They can even deceive.

So, as you wander the paths of your desires, don’t lose your head. Make others lose theirs with the near-magical power of SHADOW PLAY Natural Defining & Contouring Liquid.

Your perfectly blendable contouring helper will show the world any facet of your beauty you decide to define.

Your fingertips are the best tools to apply the delightfully lightweight Natural Defining & Contouring Liquid.

If you prefer brushes, use RBR Highlighter Brush 014 to blend.

Unlike powder products, the fluid texture of Natural Defining & Contouring Liquid is very easy to blend. Always start with the smallest amount possible for results that look good in everyday life.

Prep your skin with your favourite primer (we suggest using Skin Perfector, particularly if you don’t need additional coverage). If needed, apply your favourite foundation. Apply Natural Defining & Contouring Liquid to areas of your face, neck and décolletage that you wish to visually deepen by enhancing the amount of shadow:

- along the hairline to re-shape your forehead
- right at the temples to make the area appear more narrow
- under the cheekbones to emphasize or add to their definition
- to the sides of your nose to visually alter its width or length, although this is not likely to look properly natural in real life and is a much better fit for photography, in particular black and white; for Instagram photos; for stage make-up
- to re-model your jawline and neck
- to emphasize your collarbones

Contouring follows very simple rules:

By deepening the shadow underneath a feature, we can let the feature appear larger.

By adding shadow to a wide, flat area, we can let the area appear narrower.

Strategically adding just the illusion of a shadow makes for more defined, interesting looks.

Of course contouring is ideal with dramatic or scenic make-up, because strong coverage can make any face look unnaturally flat and wide.
