1. Anna, what was the first ever RBR product you have used? What was your impression?Three years ago I got hooked on the brand thanks to the Decadent Duo in ‘Rumba-Cubana’*. Back then I had just developed a liking for natural shades and that multi-purpose fulfilled my craving perfectly.

2. What is your favourite RBR product and why?
When it comes to picking my favourite product, I'm certainly torn between the ALLEGRIA fragrance and the Highlighting Liquid SEAS OF ILLUMINATION in 'Sea of Tranquility', they both rank first amongst the many products I own.

ALLEGRIA is basically what I think the story of my life smells like. It's mild, sweet yet excitingly floral and crisp; very right in your face, which I certainly am – I don't hold back, and consider myself very straightforward. The Highlighting Liquid is perfect for mixing with my foundation. As I have combination skin and hyperpigmentation, I rely on full-coverage matte foundation, which makes me look lifeless and dull and powder highlighters just accentuate my imperfections whereas the liquid highlighter gives me subtle glowy finish.

3. If you were to add one new product to the RBR collection, what would it be?
The range is diverse and extensive as it is, but I'd love to see products specifically created for consumers who battle with acne, especially primer-, foundation- and skin care-wise.

4. What is your signature look?
Experimenting with contouring and highlighting has become my latest obsession, figuring out the right shading for my bone structure and how it can basically change my entire look is the most fun I have with make-up. So, I usually go for a natural, shaded eye look (light beige all over my lid and taupe in my crease), winged eyeliner (Satin Eyeliner NOCTURNAL INK in ‘Friesian’) and dense yet medium-length false lashes.

I like to switch up my lip colour, but stay rather toned down with petal beige or tea pink (
Succulence of Dew lipstick in ‘Murmurings’ topped with XXX Lip Plump in ‘Acacia Royal Jelly’ is my favourite combination).

5. Would you share one particularly beautifying make-up trick with our readers?
Finally, I have some corny wisdom to share with you all: true beauty comes from within.

It took me way too long to realize and adapt that to my lifestyle, but I look and feel much better when I'm in a good mindset or just have an overall positive attitude. Don't use make-up to create a mask you can hide behind, express yourself with it instead. And smile. Always remember to smile, even when no one can see you. It'll keep negativity at bay – as well as wrinkles.

Anna, thank you so much for creating a thing of beauty which, as John Keats knew, is a joy forever.
